  • non vegetarians who eats meats at least 3 times a week will have enough protein for that week.
  • paneer ,curd ,milk ,peanuts ,almonds ,cashewnuts ,walnuts and all other nuts are good source of protein.
  • soyabean is an excellent source of protein but pregnant womens should not consume it because it is a genetically modified food.it contains high amount of estrogen hormone.
  • pregnant women should consume pickles or achar in moderate amount as it contains high amount of sodium which can lead to high blood pressure.
  • excess of salt intake ,sugar or sweets ,Maida (refined flour) ,jams ,pickles ,cold drinks ,packaged foods ,ajinomoto (MSG) ,raw eggs . preservatives should be avoided throughout pregnancy.
